Montana is Not for Sale
Our public lands, our public schools, our healthcare, our elections belong to us. Not to out-of-state corporations, not to billionaire donors, and not to politicians who serve the highest bidder and leave everyday Montanans fighting to make ends meet. It is time to put Montanans first. I am running for State Senate District 25 to ensure our state government works for all Montanans.
Who I Am
I moved to Montana 34 years ago to take a special ed teaching position in Laurel. The move was intentional, because I've been in love with Montana since I first set eyes on it. I have watched as the things I love and care about Montana have steadily eroded. I am running for the Senate because I cannot, in good conscience, just complain about what is wrong in Montana. I want to be part of making positive change happen. I want to walk the walk.

What I Offer
As a retired school teacher, union leader, and long-time community volunteer, I'm ready to represent the people of Senate District 25 to ensure their voices are heard at the state level. I am inspired by the push for true unity in our country. What the everyday Montanan is up against goes beyond any political party. We've seen what happens when politicians are beholden to their party instead of their constituents: fewer rights, less money in the bank, poisoned water and lands, and a thoughtless defunding of important government programs.
While our Montana federal representatives cater to the monied class and try to sell our public lands to the highest bidder, there are ways for us to hold the line at the state level. I aim to do just that, all while remaining responsive to the people in my district. I want to hear what concerns you most, what issues you see as priorities. In the coming months, I plan to speak to as many District 25 residents as possible, either in person and via email. Please contact me to share your thoughts. I'll be listening and you won't ever get a one-and-done automated response from me.
